The Pub
The Derby Arms is a traditional pub located just off the A590, in the picturesque village of Great Urswick. We are 3 miles from the market town of Ulverston, ideally situated for exploring the beautiful Furness Peninsular and the Lake District.
The Bar
Serving cask ales such as Dizzy Blonde, Hartleys XB plus regular seasonal ales. Our games room offers pool and darts (free pool on Tuesdays) with dominoes and cards played in the bar lounge next to our open fire.
The Accommodation
Our bed and breakfast accommodation (The Stables) is a converted barn standing adjacent to the pub. We have two double rooms and two twin rooms (one room can convert to a family room) and are all en suite with a spacious shower.

Dating back to the Bronze Age, the village of Great Urswick is awash with sites of significant historical interest, from the univallate hill fort to the ancient church of St. Mary and St. Michael's Church which is reputed to date from the sub-Roman period.
